British PM, Gordon Brown, was furious at the proposed legislation Uganda wants to introduce. He was volubly supported by the Canadians at the Commonwealth Heads conference. See the story here in today's Guardian.

Christmas tune acronym quiz

For the past few years, I've inflicted this quiz on colleagues / family / friends, and it's proved quite popular.
So now I'm going to inflict it on you lot :) [Insert evil laugh here]

Attached is a spreadsheet, containing acronyms to title / recognisable line from 125 different Christmas tunes - carols, pop songs, novelty/parodies and traditional. All you have to do is work out which tune is which.

Searching for witness protection story

I'm looking for a story about someone who transitioned as part of a witness protection program. I believe he was in the FBI or CIA. He had been a crossdresser as a man. As a woman, the witness protection program helped her fake a pregnancy and eventually breastfeed. She fell in love and also met up with her former wife. I may have seen this as much as a couple of yeas ago. Has anyone seen the story I am asking about? Know where I could find it? It might not have been from BigCloset. Thanks!

The difference in my stories.

My style of writing has changed over the years. My Ladd's Exchange Mall Series is my oldest writting. First put on Fictionmania in 1999. But it took ywo years to write.

My newest story is The Scoobies Do. It's a lot more reflective of my current attitude. Serious and irreverent at the same time.

Yet, a developing or adult male walks the streets dressed as a female. A mother and child notice, the child stares on confused and maybe even distressed. The crossdressed male is likely made to feel uncomfortable among other things.

Feeling The Blues

Over the past few weeks I have been feeling the blues. The career path I enjoyed heading for is no longer possible due to my physical limitations. I am left with trying to figure out where I go from here and it is really discouraging. A couple of nights ago, I attended a Memorial service for a teacher in High School. She was just 43 years old. As I sat there listening to the eulogies that were given, I began to ask myself "What have I done to make a difference in the lives of others? I turn 39 years old tomorrow and I have not accomplished much of anything compared to Ms. Toy.

I've been approved for hormone injections.

I'm wondering what to expect, if anything, that will or might be different from my use of progesterone pills and estradiol patches, as well as spironolactone pills.

Does anyone have anything they can tell me?

Oh, and Ugh is right. There are few things worse than heading into a holiday while suffering from the flu. YUCK!!!!!

I have a few clients who I would like to know when they opened an email I sent them. Is there such a facility in Yahoo, Gmail, or Live accounts. I have not found it, but I know that Outlook used to have it. I would use it sparingly because I realize that this would double my traffic.

30,000 word limit for submissions in one lump

We're having some problems with the Drupal software, it seems that stories above about 30,000 words or so are not being properly processed. In order to be reasonably sure you don't run into the problem, try to keep your story segments to no more than about 20,000 words for safety. If it's only a bit over that, go ahead and try but some older stories that are larger than 30,000 words are also having problems.
