Chapter Two

Destiny’s eyes and her thoughts were on the coin in her hand. She didn’t really believe it could be a true magic coin ... but ... what would it hurt to wish? Closing her eyes she wished for something simple ... something obvious ... something that was ruining her day.

Previously Mark Johnson was involved in a traffic accident, was reminiscencing about his love from his childhood and talking to a nurse who was vaguely familiar,but not anyone he recognized. When the doctor told him that he was going to have to wait on his parents to sign the consent forms made him really think, since they had been dead for 18 years.

I want to thank and give a big hug to Stanman for his help in looking over this for me.

Mark Johnson is a 42 year old man who has suffered in his life. From the loss of his soul mate to what seems like protecting innocent people from pain. Is there a reason for this ? Will he come to grips with what seems like his reality as it starts to slip around him?

He was mesmerized by her youthful beauty, but not as you may think. He didn't want to possess Samantha as a lover might, he wanted to become her, stepping into her life completely. Unfortunately, a simple wish whispered, isn't as always as perfect as it may seem. At least, not one that has been granted inside the boundaries of... THE TWILIGHT ZONE.

For an author, a Muse is a guiding spirit or a compelling source of personal inspiration. Imagine if you, a struggling author trying to produce a story, would come face to face with your muse. This is a tribute story to the late author, Genni Smith. It is also dedicated to all authors everywhere.

I sat alone on the little park bench and contemplated the chance that had been offered to me. Slowly rolling the golden wish coin between my fingers. It had passed into my hands earlier that week but I really had nothing I wanted, I was pretty successful, and fairly wealthy... even in my advanced age.

The only thing I could have ever improved upon is my utter loneliness, up until about 10 years ago that too would have been far beyond my needs. The day that I lost my beautiful wife of 63 years was the day that I died as well. I frowned and looked at the remarkable coin, If only it would have come sooner... maybe I could have saved my dear wife.

Hey everyone! Here's my first post to topshelf and I just wanted to make it short.

The first line to this poem has been bouncing around my head for a few days and I just decided to go with the flow and see where it left me.

Transsexual in Hiding

This costume which I seem to wear,
Myself I hide in darkness deep

Synopsis: During Simcha Torah things change. It is better for me and others.

First, the deadly accident on the way to the Museum, with widespread collateral damage. Then a disturbing note. And that was supposed to be the relaxing evening volunteering. Rose goes to work with her father, but this time the negotiations are for real. And exhausting. On top of all that, someone is trying to prevent Rose's promised trip.

I still get a headache whenever I try to think about those aliens. My visit with them made about as much more sense as that lunatic tea party in Alice in Wonderland; where Alice could only handle about five minutes of watching them all talking backwards and pouring tea down each others' pants before she went running out the door screaming!

Something I might of done too, if I'd had feet to run on, or if the only door up there wasn’t an airlock with a lot of deadly cold nothing on the other side. And after all their spazzed out stupidity it did turn out that there was something worth sticking around for. Very worth it...
