Pass It On
Chapter Four
When they broke the embrace, they wiped the tears from their eyes and Destiny reached into her pocket and pulled out the coin. It had changed since the last time they’d looked at. Only the words “Pass It On” remained, everything else was blank now.
Destiny nodded as she rubbed the coin between her fingers. “I understand now.”
Katie shrugged her shoulders. “So tell me because I don’t.”

Incompatible: Birth of a Spellbinder

Ragnarok Rising Part I
by D.A.W.
The world is not without irony, as evident by my life. I was born Thurston Olaf Steenberg and grew up hating the Spellbinders and all that they stood for. I lived more than thirty-five years as a simple man. Had I been allowed to continue on that path I would have died an insignificant nobody who would not have gained so much as a footnote in the history of the world. It was only by becoming what I hated most that I was able to transcend my humble beginnings and do good in the world. The following is the story of my origins. It is not the story of my birth, but of my rebirth. It the story of how I became Aryanna Morgana Le Fey.

The Center: Patient Zero
by:
Starbuck
In the language of epidemiology, patients are numbered sequentially. Once an epidemic goes public it is patient one who gets the news coverage or journal articles written about them. What is less known is that there are unrecognized patients who predate the first acknowledged case. Sometimes these people are carriers, like Typhoid Mary, but oftentimes they are merely the unsung victims who's stories are not tied into the whole until long after the papers are written. Jesse Lee was such a person, this is his story.
Story is a prequel to and is set in Lilith Langtree's 'The Center' universe.

Witching Hour
by Roberta J Cabot
Kim knew about his sister Kaye, and about her friends Diane and Cassie – the fact that they were witches. But Kaye was dieing. And, apparently, Kaye needed someone to replace her. She wasn’t worried, though. There was another witch who’ll be replacing her if need be – someone named Kimmie. And who the heck is Angel?
Author’s Note: I’ve been having a terrible time trying to write the next installment for another story I am in the middle of writing. So, in the meantime, as sort of a break, I tried my hand at writing another story, a quick one, inspired by a TV show about a trio of witches which I am sure you all know of, as well as by a new friend named Angel, and her little work of fiction, Kim, whom I got to know because of our mutual acquaintance, Dan. Problem is, this new story’s started to take on a life of its own, and I fear I cannot end it now, the way I originally planned. (Oh no! Shades of Dan and the gang…)
Anyway, thanks for the story, Angel, and let me know how it goes with Kim. This story’s for you.

PASS IT ON
CHAPTER THREE
When they pulled into the lot by the field, the game was already in progress. They quickly parked their bikes and found seats in the bleachers. The pair of princesses scanned the field and the dugouts to find Destiny’s star player.
“There he is!” Katie cried as she saw Tommy playing shortstop and readying himself for the next swing of the bat.
When Destiny saw him, she waved and shouted. “Hi Tommy!”

Some of us were glad to have a few dozen more male bodies
in the mix, so we could be of our preferred sex more often;
but by then I think most of us were starting to get used
to femininity — if we did not enjoy it, at least we had
stopped complaining about it.

Pass It On
Chapter Two
Destiny’s eyes and her thoughts were on the coin in her hand. She didn’t really believe it could be a true magic coin ... but ... what would it hurt to wish? Closing her eyes she wished for something simple ... something obvious ... something that was ruining her day.
“I wish the rain would stop.”
Thinking that saying it twice might help the wish along. She said it again.
“I wish the rain would stop.”
Destiny opened her eyes slowly to see Katie staring at her.
“What’s wrong Destiny?” Katie said with concern.

Christie made her way to the eighth floor of the Cancer wing with a sense of dread and a heavy heart. Dr. Fischer had called her that afternoon and told her that she needed to get there to see her mother as soon as she could. The cancer had spread to her liver and pancreas and she only had a short time left. She stepped into her mother's room where she was greeted with the all too familiar sounds of the monitors beeping. Her mother looked like she was asleep, but then as Christie approached her mother replied weakly"Hello dear, It sure isn't the way to spend Christmas Eve is it?"

Charli and the Girl Cave, Part 7
By Portia Bennett
Introduction: Once again Charli wakes up to a world she is not familiar with. Rather quickly, she remembers that she had been adopted the previous day by some very nice people. She had been banged up a bit in an auto accident, but she was okay. She arrives at her new home, and meets her new sister. She also meets the younger sister of Cindy whom she had met the day before. She walks out of a previously empty closet, as does her talking cat. That's when she realizes that some of her memories aren't right, and that she has left her two best friends in Boston to fend for themselves.

The Pain of Others Part 2
Previously Mark Johnson was involved in a traffic accident, was reminiscencing about his love from his childhood and talking to a nurse who was vaguely familiar, but not anyone he recognized. When the doctor told him that he was going to have to wait on his parents to sign the consent forms made him really think, since they had been dead for 18 years.
I want to thank and give a big hug to Stanman for his help in looking over this for me.
