The "Too Successful" Experiment

by Melanie Brown

Some days fate smiles on you and other days... James Shepherd was definitely having 'other' days. The day the truck hit him, the day his file crossed the desk of doctor with dubious ethics and most of all the day that a surgeon with a god complex transplanted his brain into the body of a 15 year-old girl.

A Brain Jacking...

Excellent plot and story. Very well written also. Stephanie certainly has her work cut out for her.
I look forward to the next installment.

New Book

Hey, please check out my newest book from DopplerPress, BrainJacked! It contains new material plus now it actually has an ending! A portion of the sales go to help Big Closet.

Thanks,
Melanie

Very enjoyable!

I read it, enjoyed it, and commented on it on Amazon!

As someone with a medical background, I had to suspend SOME lines of "reality", but I still enjoyed the overall story. As a fellow author, I know how hard it is to get readers to just focus on the story and not on the "reality".

Nice job, Melanie!

Spoke too soon

I guess I spoke too soon. Your review is up and much appreciated. It was mentioned he had a trach tube in place. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it.

One of your very best

It manages to be a thrilling, profound and provocative book with a challenging heroine and a more than fascinating cast of characters - it reminded me at times of Brian Aldiss’s Frankenstein Unbound. A thoroughly great read that leaps off the page, which I read in a single breathless sitting. Quite superb, Ms Brown.
