Ray Drouillard's blog
puff puff puff... bike... puff puff puff
I bought a nice mountain bike with 24 gear ratios (eight sprockets in the back, three up front,) 29" knobby tires, and shock absorbers front and back.
It's nothing like what Bev and Ang and Cyclist ride, but it suits the dirt road and trails around here. In fact, it's probably less expensive than just the frames that they have. It appears to be made out of aluminum, not titanium or graphite.

If you haven't read EOF's Dark Realms stories, you won't get this.
Um...
A slightly different perspective.
How to avoid writer's insanity?
Living dressup doll
If you got it, flaunt it!
Cliffhangers
As I mentioned in some story comments...
I'm beginning to suspect that EOF, Ang, Maggie, and a few other authors all got together and decided to hold a cliffhanger contest.
Now that we're all hanging off of half a dozen cliffs, has a winner been declared?
Interesting take on gender
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo7o2LYATDc&feature=related
This is an interesting take on the meaning and origin of expressed gender. It looks like a good discussion starter, anyhow.
Snoring Dormouse
Since the dormouse seems to be a favorite (or is that favourite?) critter around here, I bring you:
Creativity is good for the soul.
It's been a while since I did any writing or other creative stuff, but I plan on getting back into the swing of things.
To start with, I have started a new blog.
http://wild-beauty-photography.blogspot.com/
I am also updating my old blog.

Hopefully, I'll have some stories to offer before too long. Meanwhile, you can look at the pictures. ;-)
Interesting response to harassment by construction workers
Dierdre's Backscratcher
This is sooooo bad.
More humor
This is kind of related to the motif of this site. :-)

OK... so it just tickled my funny bone.
Geek humor

"What are you doing, son?"
"Just looking at internet porn."
"Good, as long as you're not doing..."
Privacy and convenience in browsing anywhere
Modern browsers have lots of convenient features, like the ability to remember your passwords, and the ability to easily go to sites that you commonly visit. For instance, all I have to do is start typing "bi" in my browser, and it brings up a list of previously visited sites that contain "bi" -- Big Closet being at the top of the list. It will also auto-enter my user name and password when I want to log in.
FORMAT C:
Somehow, I managed to pick up a virus.
I'm Back...
for now, at least
I'm having problems getting on line. Right now, I'm running at a screaming 21,600 bps. 28.8K seems a distant dream. :-/
[grumble] ISP [grumble] rural phone lines [grumble, grumble]
I've been having trouble getting on line. I downloaded a bunch of stuff at the library, but that required the use of an anonymous server. They have this whole site blocked. I couldn't log on through the anonymous server. None of the anon servers let me log on to my account.
Length and Frequency?
or, How Long and How Often?
That Seductive [Create Content] link
Looking for new comments is addicting. They fell off all too quickly, so I grabbed a story from my [author] directory (there's more where those came from) and posted it. As a bonus, I think I figured out how to properly post the HTML stuff.
Well, sort of. It didn't like my indented paragraphs. Oh well.
Ray Drouillard <-- carrying sign that says "I Write for Comments."
