So... I made a title page (MORFS: Chakats Give the Best Hugs,) and I wrote the first part of the story, but I can't figure out how to attach the first part of the story to the title page.

Help!

(I'm trying to cut down on the workload of the folks running the site just a bit, but I might have increased it. Sorry!)

Connecting stories to title pages

When you first submit a story, or when you edit it, at the very bottom of the page is a section called "Book Outline".

1. In the section on the right-hand side, find your own name in the first drop-down.

2. Once you have selected that, things will whirr away for a moment and then a second drop-down box should appear, with all the items that currently exist under the topmost level (you). Your title page should be amongst that lot, sorted alphabetically.

3. In the second dropdown, find the MORFS title page and select that. That will now be the "owner" of the story that you are posting or editing.

You can elaborate this structure if you wish, with several levels of title pages. For example, I have Somewhere Else Entirely as a top level under me and below that another set of title pages, one for each book.

Thanks!

Your instructions were very helpful. I made good use of them. I now have my MORFS stories reorganized. Now that I am pretty much done with my housekeeping, I can go back to writing.

You had it backwards

You attached the title page to the story. I switched it so the story is attached to the title page.

Thanks!

Thanks for straightening things out for me. I did some reorganizing, so I think I have a handle on it now.
