well, its official. I am scared of my own brain.

I was waiting to pick up my ex at her work, and as sometimes happens, I began to nap.

Unfortunately, what woke me up was intense pain in my left hip, like I had pulled a muscle while sleeping.

This isnt the first time something like this has happened, but its beginning to scare me.

I dont even know how I would describe this to a doc ....

ah, well.

How to describe it?

You've just described it perfectly. Your doctor will understand.

While you're waiting to see your MD, you can try drinking more water and making sure you're eating foods with potassium.

If I could find my brain

I might be scared of it.

I've reached that age where the bits that haven't fallen off don't always work. Over the years I've learned to ignore the odd twinge; if it happens again I might go and see a doctor.
