Well, last night, the co-worker who I saw Star Trek with presented me with a bag a earrings, as she could tell I rather liked having something dangling from my lobes.

People keep doing this for me - getting me stuff, just cause. I mean, I made a casual remark on my blog about needing a bra, and someone who only knew me by the words I had written took the time to send me a couple. Another person sent me a wig to give me some confidence in going out in public. My friend Erin gave me a large case of makeup and some videos to teach me how to use them. Kylie sent me a computer when mine died, and then sent me a laptop to make sure I could stay connected and has been there for me every time I've needed her. Ruth took time out of her vacation to meet with me and ended up getting me a cross to wear for church. And of course, Jaci has graciously donated her time to talk to me, and just as important, to listen to me when I needed it.

There are so many more, so many people who despite having no particular reason to be charitable to someone they only knew from words on a page at best, took the time to do whatever they could for me, even if it was just sending me a virtual hug.

I can only be grateful to all of them.

Bless you all.

Bless you all...

Maybe we see something in you that you often can't see in yourself (but maybe are starting to?)...

And maybe "random acts of kindness" haven't been stomped out of our gene pool yet...

We love you, girl, and want you to be happy... Resistance is futile. *laugh*

See?

itjust goes to show you that even with your self doubts, there are those who love you just because you are you.
