Well, yesterday was a real mixed bag day. First, I woke up with a story idea, and had it written and published in about an hour, and since it was a happy romance story, I got an extra buzz from being able to write something other than darkness.

Then, I went to my local trans support group and got the bad news that three of the founding members were quitting the group, and suggesting that the group disband entirely. Not sure where that leaves me for support, but ah, well.

Then, to make matters worse, when I was getting ready to leave the meeting and go to work, my car wouldnt start and I ended up needing a boost from one of the other members. Not sure why this happened, it wasnt that cold last night, and I just got a new battery so that's a worry.

Lastly, I worked through the night and felt like I was flying I was going so fast - I finished 2 departments on my own and then helped in a third for the rest of the night, giving me a good boost in my self confidence in regards to work.

So a mixed-bag day. Could be a lot worse, yes?

A bad battery

Dorothy, you need to go back where you got your new battery and have them test it. They should do it for free. It's possible that you just got a bad battery. Do that as soon as you can.

Had something like that-...

Happening during Cristams days. One friend said that he would add more money to the parking slot mashne and put the receit inside the car. He needed to get some of the rest of the unpacking of Christmas presents away anyway. When he used the buttons on the car key it must have been a misstake. By error he opened the trunk, but it was so much snow on it that it was hardly seen. BUT that set the internal light ON. With the bright day that was not seen. When I was to leave on the 27th the battery was totaly "dead". Maybe something like that happened to you too.60 minutes drive home fixed it after the motor had been started with an external battery.
