Being treated like a woman

In the last couple of days, I've had a couple of different people at different stores treat me like a woman, and it feels really good when it happens.

The first was at the gas station (its the same one I went to the first time I left my house in a skirt), and the staff there has never failed to call me miss or ma'am.

Then today I went to get new steel toed shoes, and the sales lady led me to the woman's shoes without me even asking for them specifically.

To make the day better, I was able to find a pair of women's shoes with a steel toe that actually still look feminine that fit me.

So I'm kinda happy right now, which I guess is understandable, but curious. Despite every bit of doubt I still struggle with, these moments are so positive that they are my only answer to those doubts.

Ah, well.

Yep.

It's really good when it happens. For me it's even better when I'm mistaken for girlie when I'm purportedly in male mode as I 'flip' back and fore.

Twice this year I've been addressed as ma-am or madam whilst dressed in boy mode then, when the individual has apologised, I have turned it around immediately by thanking them and explaining I usually prefer to be taken as a female and I'm sometimes out in Male mode despite my feeling female at that moment. It's bloody complex and difficult to explain. Intergendered can be worse than transgendered sometimes but other times it's just sooo-oo much fun.
