Finding the positive:

Here is my day, with a positive spin.

I worked very hard last night at work (I have a job, and they dont care if I'm transitioning)

My daughter is changing, becoming less dependant (She's growing up, its a good thing)

My car needs repair, I need new shoes, and somehow, I need to save enough money to get my name changed and hopefully fly to Montreal for SRS (I have plans, I'm doing my best to make them happen, and I'm saving money when I can.)

See how much differnce having a poisitive attitude makes?

Finding the positive...

I need to learn to find the positive in things more, too. (I have goals, things to achieve, ways to improve myself.)

SRS Montréal

Congratulations - I hope that you have received Alberta's go ahead for surgery in Montréal. I am just 18 months post op & the service & help at the good doctor's facility is first rate. The only situation I faced was that he refused to allow me to return to living alone for another week after leaving his compound. So, I moved into an old folks home a short distance from my own. I was the first SRS'd person they had ever heard of - they couldn't do enough for me.

If you do not have a date as yet - please be patient - my application was given in by hand in March - approved by Québec in July & surgery in January. Because I am only a half hour drive away, I was called 2 weeks before my surgery & moved up a week.

If you want any information on the Clinic &/or a visit from an old lady when you are in Montréal, drop me a PM & I will arrange contact both before & after surgery if you would like.

Glad to hear you are advancing towards your goal.
