and the Sun is even making an appearance!

Lots to get through today so i'll cut the waffle - well a bit!

I completed another chapter of the new Gaby book on Monday - Patreonites can read it now but it does bring publishing time for the rest of you a little closer - hopefully part 1 should be available before the end of the month - well fingers crossed.

Yesterday was a bike day - not long, well just shy of 70km, a fairly gentle meander down to Bath with a loop back through east Briz on the return. I had a cafe stop mid way, it really does increase the enjoyment level with a sit off the bike with tea and hot food.

And then of course Angharad, she of Bike and many other great tales, has started to post her Gaby Dorset trilogy here on BC - It might be fanfic but yuou really should have a read!

But its not all joy - i've had to order some new pedals, its a while since i've destroyed any, you just take them for granted but i guess ten years and countless thousands of miles will eventually take their toll. An expense i could've done without just now but what can you do?

The bad news hasn't ended there tho', nope, Blackberry are turning off their phone support next week, i didn't even know that was a thing, so it looks like i won't have an operable telecommunications device. That really is a big issue, i certainly don't have new phone money, i can't get a contract and even a used handset is more than i can currently afford. Anyone in the UK got an unlocked handset collecting dust in a drawer?

To end on a more positive note, chapter 1 of the next Gaby volume, Fame, is now up for your amusement. The trip to Canada is almost at an end but success brings hidden trials for the Wunderkind. Not only does she have to contend with her fifteen minutes of fame but there's the BlauHase concert to get through as well as college. Thankfully there's respite on the horizon, the team 'training' camp is fast approaching, some much needed down time from the hullabaloo! Of course nothing ever runs to plan where Gaby is concerned so strap yourselves in and enjoy the roller coaster of Fame! Chapter one, Ontario Rainbow is a feature length chapter to get you started.

So there we go, i'm off to stretch my legs and then i'll make a start on the next Gaby chapter but for now, take care and i'll be back with more waffle at the weekend.
