In my dreams!

So here we are on day 13 of the UK's Covid 19 'lockdown'. After the media hyped hysteria of the previous week, the last seven days have been pretty uneventful as people have adjusted their shopping and exercise habits to avoid the worst of the queues and crowds. That is for the most part, there are still a subset of 'middle class' people for the most part, who are still travelling to beauty spots to walk/exercise the dogs and having family 'gatherings' in the parks.

At the moment our gov't still consider exercise to be a vital component of their strategy so I'm continuing to SD and SI with long rides out into a mostly deserted countryside. On Thursday that involved a loop across the Severn through the Forest of Dean and yesterday it was a circuit of North Somerset. The weather has been quite mild but Whichever Way the Wind Blows, its been a pest!

I've also swapped my usual Friday walk to a run, hopefully this time next week i'll be thinking of upping the distance as well as being able to run most of the current 7km circuit. Three rides, two runs, one walk and a day off should keep me quite fit and being fit is crucial should one succumb to Corona or any other viral infection, if I end up fitter as a result, well that's a bonus i'll live with.

And so to other news. Well today, after treating myself and the landlady to a full cooked breakfast, has been largely taken with preparing book 10 of Gaby, Wheels 2nd edition for release as both Kindle and Amazon print.

Amazon Print - to follow

All the original illustrations are included as well as a cast list. Book 11 is a work in progress and should follow after Easter which is of course next weekend.

Of course there is a new chapter from book 21 posted here on BC too, Sling It sees more complications and mixed emotions in the Wunderkinds life.

I think that about wraps things up for today, tomorrow, after my run, i'll be putting time into writing projects, hopefully some news on that on Wednesday.

So for now, with no more Queen lyrics
its time to Let Me Go

Plagerism

I wonder if Freddie gave the Kinks credit for that lyric?
