Chapter 1

It was a seemingly ordinary day on the spaceport Ithila. An old escort carrier, converted to a thriving space port and trading post – it was an example of the space drifter's ingenuity at its finest. Stripped of its primary propulsion and weapon systems, it orbited KA-12V, a main-sequence star in the distant Altix galaxy. Much like the Wild West of earthly times, it was a place without true law, where everyone took the law into their own hands if needed.

On this day bounty hunter Kathed docked on the east bay. He lifted the canopy of his illegally modified Type 78 interceptor and docked it. He paid using his PDA, grumbling at the price increase for docking the ship. “Fuck, it was 3,000 credits last time and now it's 3,200? The fuck are they thinking?” He grabbed a pallet jack and deposited a preload card of 200 credits used for just this purpose into the system, its jet propulsion online. headed first to the fuel shop, picking up hydrogen tanks, lithium cartridges, and a set of spare hydrogen thrust rings, as his T78 was wearing his current set thin. He then went to the medical center, and picked up his usual supplies. Antivirals and antibiotics, nanomachine canisters, cauterizers, and collagia gel. Checking his money, he had just enough left to replenish his ammunition. He walked to the ammo shop, grabbed three plasma cartridges, a photon sword battery and a 4 pack of concussion missiles. Loaded up, he headed back to his ship.

Kathed replaced the hydrogen tanks that had been depleted, the box of spent lithium cartridges, and removed the worn thrust rings, replacing them with his spares and putting the new ones in his spare kit. He placed them on the jack. Opening the missile bay, he loaded the pack of 4 missiles into the reserve feed. Kathed closed the bay of his ship, opened the cockpit and walking behind the chair, he replenished his medical supplies in his cabinet and surgical unit. He then spoke to the onboard computer, “Run self checks on the ship, ensure everything is locked down. I'm going to return the scraps to get my deposit back.”

“Yes sir.” said a female synthesized voice. Kathed left the ship and began heading back towards the trading area, when suddenly he heard a loud boom accompanied by screams and the breaking of the air seals. Quickly he secured his protective face mask and turned on his oxygen as he ran, abandoning the cart, towards the closing bulkhead. Just nimbly jumping through it as it closed, he looked around. A large hole in the ceiling, about 4 meters in diameter, was above him. Before him on the floor of the trading post was a brownish mass, steaming. He backed away carefully, and began to look for injured. He found none, it seems everyone had evacuated to the safe part of the ship. Kathed looked around for clues, finding a trail of thick slime. Careful not to touch it, he scooped a sample using his composition analyzer. It was returned as an organic substance coming from some living thing. A chill ran down his spine as he drew his photon sword and pistol.

Carefully, he activated his mask mounted lamp in the direction of the slime covered trail. Before him in the dark corner was a pinkish mess of tentacles with one large yellow eye, a squid-like body but with some sort of opening at the top of it, dripping slime. Raising his pistol, he fired, three times. The first shot missed, the second two hit its body, burning small black spots. The alien reared up and raised its tentacles. Kathed quickly ran to the side, narrowly missing a mass of slime covered tentacles. He shot at the creature, aiming for the eye. As the plasma globs hit, the eye burned and the creature recoiled, covering its eye with its tentacles. Advancing forward he took his sword and aimed for the tentacles, cutting a huge portion of them off. Rolling out of the way, under the dripping slime covered orifice, he stabbed it through the orifice. It recoiled in pain, before he delivered the final strike at the base of its mass. As it died in its death throes, Kathed turned his attention to the steaming brown mass. He approached it slowly, but as he did, cracks began to appear and smaller versions of the creature he had just killed came out by the hundreds.

Kathed ran to the other side of the area and began thinking quickly. He then realized the area had hydrogen-oxygen anti-personnel systems. He just needed to get to the trigger, on top of the buildings they had built up. He scaled the lowest building nearby he could, and then began advancing up. As he turned back, he saw the swarm crawling and leaping to catch up to him. He fired several shots at the front runners and then jumped to the next rooftop, landing on it hard. Wincing in pain, Kathed struggled to his feet. Just across the area was the trigger. He considered his options carefully. He could continue to advance across the roofs but he was sure the aliens would catch up to him. He then thought about the spare air tank on his back. Carefully, he pulled the spare airtank hose and then using his HUD, selected the electric valve. He then did a running jump and opened the valve midjump. It threw him to the wall on the other side, where he shut off the air tank and fell to the roof. Struggling to his feet he went over and smashed the button for the trigger and took cover. The fire incinerated everything including the brown mass. As it subsided as quickly as it started, for the oxygen tank ran out, he looked around below. Hundreds of dead alien tentacle creatures were charred to death. As he let out a sigh, he was grabbed from behind. One of the aliens latched onto his back, restraining his arms and legs with its tentacles. Using its sharp teeth, it ripped away all of his hunter clothing around his thighs to his waist. He stood, pantsless and defenseless as the alien raped him, suctioning itself to his back. With one tentacle it squeezed the base of his penis, then snaked its way under his foreskin. Extending a small needle from the very tip of the tentacle, it poked it right into the tip of his uretha.

Kathed was screaming and crying at this point, in pain from the needle. As soon as it was lodged in, it was ripped out, a little blood dripping from the opening of his penis. The alien opened its orifice and, unbeknownst to Kathed, unsheathed a long tentacle covered in small pores from with the orifice. It shoved the tentacle deep into his anus, and Kathed orgasmed forcibly, ejaculating bloody semen. He staggered, forcibly held upright by the monster. It went deep inside him, before finally retracting itself. Seeing his chance, Kathed broke free and shot at the monster on its back, causing it to lose its grip. He then cleaved it in half with his photon sword before collapsing to the ground, crying and in shock.

WOW!

Here's some kudo's. Most SF's just assume the reader is going to safely assume. This includes Star Trek and Wars.. You've gone thru describing resupply! Good start!

Thanks!

Whenever I spin a story I spend the first few chapters explaining the important stuff as I go, since I prefer to weave my own tales rather than relying on conventions established in other universes.
