What am I thankful for? Easy answers right, maybe not. The standard stuff applies here I have my family, my job, the roof over my head, but I am also very thankful for friends. I have two friends who know me now both have been my friends for many years and I was pretty sure they would be supportive. Talking to them has brought me to a better place, I can honestly say I was headed in a not so good direction and wasn't sure how it would have ended.

Then there is BCTS, you folks have been so nice. You were there when I needed you and continue to be supportive. I am not good at writing and so far have only blogged a bit, but have made lasting friendships in such a short time. People I have never met face to face that I love just as if we had known each other for years. I can't thank Erin and her elves enough for giving me a place to be myself and letting me find such wonderful friends. Hmm friends no I think family is a better word for the community here. So I will say I am thankful for my BCTS family, and I love you all. May your Turkey Day be wonderful and full of tryptophan induced naps. Smiles and hugs Jenn.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Jenn!

*hugs* watch those calories too. We need to keep our figures to keep our readers jealous of us :D

Relativity....

My grandmother Angelina was second cousin to Joe DiMaggio, which makes Marilyn a 'cousin-in-law' of sorts. I believe the Turkey is a relative on my mother's side of the family.

Time is short today, but I share your sentiments.

And I am thankful

For you, Jenn; and Erin and Sephrena and the whole BCTS family. And my family, who I'm with today. I must remember that my eyes today will try to write a check that my tummy can't (or, shouldn't) cash. Love all of you. **Sigh**

Well if you have a figure try to keep it I seem to have misplaced mine a few years ago.

Figure? See above.

I have GOT to go turkey hunter hunting!

Did you see her drumsticks? And look at the size of her... giblets!

WHOA MOMMA!

-- GRIN --

Well gang, My sister -- The EVIL BLOND TM __ has two five gallon ice-cream pails filled with homemade cookies for the Chicago Tardis SciFi convention and a pie and a sheet cake for our family get together today.

I have 18 not quite whole wheat buns rising -- 3 cups whole wheat flour to one cup bread flour -- and an eggnog bread rising. Think stollen, that's stollen like a kuchen not like I stole it.

Dad is still with us. Has a MRSA, one of those hard to treat bacterial infections but so far so good with the IV outpatient antibiotics.

Our two sibling cats -- 35 and half years in total -- are mostly well though both have mild to moderate kidney disease and she has signs of heart troubles.

But all in all we are doing pretty well. And it is 60 F today! and SUNNY !!!!

Low 30s tomorrow and snow... CRA*! CRA*! CRA*! CRA*! CRA*! CRA*! CRA*! CRA*!

Um, fudge!

Have great holiday. Unless you support an NFL team other than the Green bay Packers. Then I will pray for you to see the light.

But if you like the Dallas Coyboys DIE DIE DIE !

John in Wauwatosa not the least bit rabid about his state's not for profit team.

P.P.S. Is that Ms Monroe?

Turkey Girl.

Yes it is Ms. Monroe.

P.S. I love ice cream and cookies.

P.P.S. I love whole wheat buns.

P.P.P.S. I love cats and snow.

P.P.P.P.S. I am from Texas but despise the Cowboys don't tell anyone though they might kick me out of the state... on second thought.

A Prairie Home Companion was in Texas last week

and had on a TEXAS writer who had book entittled The Dallas Cowboys, Amerias Most Hated and Most Loved team.

Or as I prefer to think of them the team that put the felon into the National Felons League as the NFL has become to a sad extent. How many date rapes, fights, thefts, domestic assaults were forgiven IF you were a producutive meber of America's Team.

What gall.

Never mind. I am P-ed off. Our stove which has been acting up malfunctioned and the oven burnt my eggnog bread. Might be able to salvage the core but the outside is too over done.

Set off one of out smoke detectors.

At least the whole wheat buns are okay.
