In case i don't get a chance over the next few days.

So here i am, up in GOC and so far things have gone to plan.

Well the coach was a bit late on Thursday but not by too much but i'm out of practice with the long journeys and i was quite tired. Yesterday, Friday, we went out towards Lincoln for some lunch then on the way back we stopped for a look ay Gainsborough Old Hall - much of the building dates from the early 1400's and several monarchs including Henry VIII have stayed there. It's a really nice place - if you are in the area its worth a visit and the cafe serves a mean cup of tea too!

Today i took a walk into the city centre, in via the canal path then after a bit of shopping, back a slightly more roundabout way sort of following the railway. A bit over 12km in total with a 10 metre per km climb rate which is more than most of my bike rides from Brizzle! Its been a nice spring day again, a bit breezy but essentially dry and sunny.

Tomorrow, and the reason for this early post, i'll be heading up to Leeds to deliver birthday gifts to Grandson #1. Its grandparents prerogative to spoil grand children but why does everything have to weigh so much? Still, i'm looking forward to seeing him, last time was before xmas.

I have of course posted you new Gaby, Playing Catch Up is part 15 of book 24.

Well there we are, i'll be in GOC most of next week, i hope to get online on Wednesday but that'll depend on the weather and how other stuff pans out. Likewise actually getting any writing done.

For now that's about it, see you soon,
Tschuss,
Madeline Anafrid
