but I thought I'd keep you up to date with things whilst I'm waiting for the weather to dry up a bit!

So, first off, banking. After the distress and angst last week, things are looking more cheery this week. The bank have started 2 separate fraud investigations (their system doesn't allow for more than two incidents at a time) and my account has duly been reimbursed with the stolen funds. Getting my replacement bank card took a little longer but that arrived yesterday allowing me to make some essential purchases last night and to move funds and pay the phone bill this morning. Hopefully that'll be the end of it, I'll certainly be keeping a closer eye on my statements in future!

Patreon. Firstly a big thankyou to all those who have already signed up, I hope you don't regret it! For those who are not sure how it works here's a quick 101. Essentially you sign up for a specified 'donation' to be paid (usually by PayPal) monthly to The Creator in this case its me but why not sign up to support Erin and BC whilst you are there. There are fees to pay of course so we don't get 100% of donations but what we do get is a fixed income which only changes when new Patrons sign up or you pull the plug. Most Creators have different levels or Tiers of support offering varying 'rewards' for your support depending on what you sign up for.

Being entirely new to this business, I'm terrible at self promotion, I've set things up very simply to start with 4 Tiers for you to choose from.

Kindle Sales. Well I have had a few more sales since I mentioned the apparent drought but it seems that some market places are not being offered the latest releases for reasons known only to Amazon. Has this always been the case? They seem to get them eventually so how long is the delay? Hopefully things will pick up some in the coming weeks, in the meantime I'll start stockpiling baked beans!
