Well this week has started fairly well, temperatures are up and the vaccination time table is looking pretty good - just a pity that other stuff is holding us back from a return to 'normal' life.

Monday - well I spent most of the day putting together and editing the new Gaby tome, a job that would be much easier with a fully functioning wp programme! Yesterday though, I forced myself out on the bike, a short 70km ride, exploring a few lanes along the way. It wasn't the greatest ride but lunch didn't require finding shelter and a gentle pace was quite relaxing. On my return it was to another couple of hours editing before a plate of home made Vindaloo restoked the boiler.

With my edit completed, I've sent the file, all 450 pages of it, to my editing team to check over, well others see things the writer will miss, things are on track for next weeks release! On the subject of editing, I can't believe just how many things I needed to fix, missed capitals, words running into each other and what appeared to be a number of auto changed words/spellings. Add any format/layout changes and some text changes, a word added here, a sentence there, remove a phrase somewhere else and it truly is a pretty big job.

Todays free to view chapter is once again from The Visitors, chapter 14, Skaytze see's Drew et al take a trip into the skating rink in Sheffield but its a case of Drew in, Gaby out and things snowball from there!
