Good morning.

So, I had a chat with my friend last night - yes, the same friend who convinced me to post my new Danny chapters even though I haven't completed the story yet. She's very happy that I did. Seems my friend is easy to keep happy. lol.

But then, as we got to chatting, she brought up another story of mine. And...

Did I say it was easy to keep my friend happy? I may have spoken too soon... (lol joke)

Anyway, the new topic of discussion was another of my old stories, specifically my Drew Nance stories. It seems that she wants me to do the same thing that I did to Danny to Drew as well, which is to say, to post all the chapters that I currently have of the new Drew Nance book, even though I haven't completed it yet.

Currently, I have twelve long chapters of Drew Nance, Book Two, but the story's a long, long, long, long, long, long way from being complete (my estimate is that it's only one third complete). But she is very, very persistent, and she has worn me down. Which means, yep, I'm gonna be posting them until I run out of chapters. Sigh... The things one does for friends.

I don't know any writers here who have posted more than one ongoing story at any given time, so this might be a first... Scary...

For those who've been reading both my Danny and Drew Nance stories, I hope you don't have any story universe collisions when you try reading them concurrently.

In any case, the new Drew Nance chapters will not be posted until Wednesday of next week, to give me a chance to do some basic clean-up and sh... stuff. Maybe split the looong chapters, for example (which is not really easy), and do some basic proofreading.

This extra lead time will also give you guys time to re-read the two previous Drew Nance stories, so come next week you guys will be all caught up.

That reminds me - the new posting schedule will therefore be:

o     New chapters of Danny, Part Seven
        will be posted every Monday & Friday, 8PM Eastern;

o     Chapters for Drew Nance, Girl Detective - Book Two
will be posted every Wednesday, 8PM Eastern, starting April 24.

To my old chatroom chat-mates, I think you know who this very persistent person is (mweheheh) so it'd be very helpful if you can talk to her, and try and make her less... persistent? I may be over-committing myself again because of her... (joke joke!)

So, seeya when I seeya. And be considerate of the feelings of your Friendly Neighborhood Writer - writers are like an endangered species: abuse them or scare them off and they might disappear for good.

You'll find that i've got and had several stories on the go, being posted here at various times. Whilst some have been on the back burner for a while they are still all 'live', I just have to wait for inspiration to write in the various 'worlds' the characters inhabit.

The most current are Gaby (of course), Nena, then there's a bunch of others, Peaches, Trixie etc, etc.

I thought they're all on sale now, and not in free sites anymore.

I used to read Gaby very religiously. I even remember the beginning, when he and his mom participated in a costume-bike contest, and that's where Drew got his fem name, "Gaby." That was a loooooong time ago.

But your stories became for-sale stories, and weren't available to read anymore, both here and in many other sites. (I'm not blaming you, of course - that's your privilege & right as a writer, to monetize your work). I do see the posted blog-adverts for your books on sale all the time, though, and the pics are very cool.

I guess that's why I never bothered to keep up, and it would be impossible to catch up now. And I guess that's the main reason I didn't know that you still have new stories to read here, much more multiple stories, and coming out at the same time. More power to you, though, and I hope Gaby keeps on riding for a looong time.

My policy that all my scribbles get aired for free. Unlike many other 'greedy' authors I haven't subscribed to Amazon's KDP programme which forces you to take down any free stuff in exchange for more money. So you get to read pretty much everything here for free just a bit later than the 'paying customers'!

Please do come back into the fold and catch up - i'm sure you'll enjoy a Gabfest. Not only that but i've started a new series of photo illustrated Gaby 'shorts' that for now at least are exclusive to 'free to view' here at BC.

It's something I highly appreciate.

Kindle Unlimited used to be my number one source of new-to-me books. (BCTS is now, even though I still have KU.) And the Gaby books kept coming up under recommendations. I had a good job for a few months 3 years ago and bought a few. And promptly got hooked. A few weeks later I bought all of them, even though I knew by that point that some of the ones I hadn't read yet were free on the web.

And back when there were only 15 books, I think I reread the series once or twice.

Ontario is the first book I didn't buy when it came out. My finances are shaky. But I'm really glad I will probably get to read it for free in a few years. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

I'm ahead of you

I had just started re-reading the Drew Nance stories this morning.

I *love* those stories.

Thanks for writing more of both Danny and Drew Nance, I love them both.

Tak!!!!

Tak , tak , tak .... Nareszcie się doczekałem po tylu latach :D .... Bobbie dziewczyno jesteś wspaniała , Dziękuję :*

Posting two stories at once.

You said "I don't know any writers here who have posted more than one ongoing story at any given time".

As near as I can remember, this happens every now and then. LadyDragon has umpteen stories on the go at once. And recently WolfJess7 was posting one chapter per week end, alternating between Interview With A Lolita and Racing Angels.

I came across and promptly read your Drew Nance stories a few weeks ago when you mentioned them in a comment. Yay! You're planning to do more. I've fallen behind on keeping up on your Danny stories but I've kept a tab open on my web browser for it and am planning to get back to it "real soon now'. (And I expect I actually will, it's an awesomely good story.)
