Yep - a Christmas bonus!

A quick note before i head to see the Kinder.

Yesterday i did a hike to Stanage Pole, one of the highest points in Sheffield at 438m! It was well windy with Storm Pia scouring the land! To put it in context, the Pole (it really is a pole, originally set up in 1732 as a waymarker) is up behind the Stanage Edge referenced by Cyclist in the Rainbows & Mates stories. I got a bit wet on the downhill leg of the almost 13km route, weather, who'd have it!

Anyway after my trip to Leeds its a couple of hours rest before setting off for mainland Europe, a busy day, i'll be kernackered by the time i get home!

The real reason for this post is the chapter of On The Edge i've just posted, i didn't think it fair to leave you hanging almost until New Year! So read What a Swizz now or save it until you need some light relief over the festive period.

That's it, i have a bus to catch, once again have a great time and i'll be back in a weeks time.

Tschussie,
Madeline Anafrid
