Drabble Theatre: A Matter of Taste

Printer-friendly version

Dinner was over, dessert was delicious, and the coffee was, too. ‘Maddy always knows the best places to eat,’ Jason mused as they left the restaurant. Luck or magic, he didn’t know — and didn’t really care.

He kissed her lovingly.

“Mmmmmm,” she whispered. “Yummy. You taste …”

“Like what?” he asked, curious.

With a grin, Maddy stood on tiptoe and kissed him again --

-- and Jason tasted peppermint, and coffee. And lipstick. She felt strong arms around her, and looked up into her own eyes as Maddy’s smile grew upon his lips.

She loved being married to a witch.

Amazing!

This is the only story I've ever posted here that didn't receive a single comment. So I thought I'd give it one, just because I like it -- and no child this sweet deserves to be so neglected.

Good job, Randa. *grin* You get a cookie. *lol*

Randa

Yep, really nice

It's just that probably it was hidden not on your story list but in the Drabble Theatre and needed a little bit more attention to find. :)
