Usually it other way round and videos work in US but are blocked in other countries.

Good article at Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EMI . It seems that this company has been on the skids and in a steep decline for years. So to improve their image (tongue planted firmly in cheek), they have prevented everyone from hearing any of their holdings... Good move guys: It's sure to win the hearts and minds of the listening public.

The totalitarian world of corporations
EMI along with all of its ilk amount to medieval kingdoms bent on achieving power. Money does not feed there hunger any more it is about power and there ability to say no. Just like a little kid who just learned to talk, the love to hear there own voice yelling no no no no no. The next is not fair, or snot fair as my kids use to say.
Correct me if I am wrong but corporations like all other big businesses, are not democratic. And if you will bare with me, neither is there religion of capitalism, nor there homes. So exactly where does democracy , fairness, freedom or equality enter there world. Answer only in our imaginations. In fact corporations are the sworn enemy of all of these.
Sorry for soapboxing this is a very painful spot in my life. I will now shut up.
