Work thing this week. Alright last week was super crappy. This week is ok. My idiot store manager is going out of his way to talk about neutral topics with me like his football team (Cowboys suck) isn't doing well, and insists on shaking my hand when he comes in. The harassment issue might be resolving itself, the grapevine says my manager is shopping me to a new store that I had put in for a transfer too some months ago. That would kinda solve all the problems I would move districts and have no interaction with anyone involved in the issue. I actually respect the manager I would be working under. This not a given though it still has to pass several levels of approval, but I am hoping everyone just gets it done and it all just ends. I will still be shopping the resume for something that would increase my pay.

Good thing this week. My friend FO and I had lunch and were able to talk more about my gender issues. He made a list of questions that were actually well thought out, and I had no problem answering them. He is still fine with me and wants to know more about my history and how I have been dealing with this for so long. He does call me Jenn when he can, which I really appreciate.

Worrying thing this week. My father was involved in quite a serious accident. He was rear ended by a semi. This happened about two weeks ago. He did not tell me because he thought I would be worried. Duh he lives in Houston and I can't get up there as often as I would like to, to check on him. So he finally told me and his doctor discovered that he is in a lot of pain because his vertebrae have lots of little fractures nothing that is a danger to his spinal cord just painful and will take a long time to heal. He asked his lawyer if he wanted to own a trucking company. At least dad still has a sense of humour.

Hmm thing this week. Last night we went to get flu shots as a family. When the pharmacist ran my insurance it came back listing me the employee and policy holder as female. I am beginning to think the universe is trying to tell me something. I know its all coincidence and all that but they seem to be lining up. My wife said not to change anything just yet with the insurance until all the claims have cleared, in case the issue takes some time to resolve. I know I have to fix it but it can wait a bit.

That's what's going on, it just feels better to write it out. And who knows maybe someone will read it. Thanks to everyone for the nice and supportive pm's this past week, it felt good to know I have friends. Smiles, Jenn.

why change the insurance

I thought you would take it as a compliment.

Though I don't get what the big deal about the trucks is. I have been rearended by a semi truck with my own car. That was like 10 years ago and I'm still driving the same car,,, mostly ... there is alot more rust on it than it was then. I did spend 3 years getting neck treatments for whiplash but that was about it. I remember the accident well I was on highway doing speedlimit of 90km or 50 mph and had to do a sudden stop because of a stupid dog sitting in the road where the person in that lane crossed into mine right in front of me and slammed on their brakes. I swerved into the ditch braking so hard I stalled my car. The semi right behind me with a full load couldn't stop as fast.

My car got a busted taillight, a bust fiberglass extension ( it goes around the tailight and bolts to quarterpanel) and I had to change the bumpershock. Cost me about $80 including paint to fix.

The semi truck on the other hand had a busted hood, wrecked tire, and his bumper was flattened against his wheel.

And people wonder why I still drive that 1988 Chrysler 5th ave.

I did take it as a

I did take it as a compliment, even though I was the only one in on the joke. And I love the 5th Avenue I had one for a few years. Also had my absolute favorite car ever I owned was a police model 89 Dodge Diplomat that i got at auction, that car was amazing it drank gas but back then who cared.
