Pronouns
I wouldn't be too quick to jump on the pronoun bandwagon in this instance. I've read four articles on this person and this particular event. From what I've read (quotes and info), it sounds like he/she uses both pronouns as well as his/her masc/fem names depending on who she/he's with. He/she is known as both Fem and Masc. as well as his/her Masc and fem name, and doesn't seem to be making an issue of the usage. Even his/her mother calls him/her a him. And she sound proud/accepting of him/her so if anyone would be using a feminine pronoun on a regular basis you'd think his own accepting mother might be the leader of the pack.
Some people just don't care one way or the other. Of course it makes the usage of slashes quite annoying after a while.
