~* The Gowns *~

It's almost entirely likely that the next chapter will feature Robin and Linda's first fittings, but I couldn't resist showing off what I have in mind for the two of them as a 'finished product' since the wedding itself will be taking place in the Spring, and Book Two will come to a close with the holidays (in-story).

So without further todo, I give you the gowns. Very special thanks and all credit to http://www.weddingdresscreator.com/wedding-dress-creator.php gown design tool. I would never have come up with such a beautiful design without this thing!

I wanted to go for a more classic, 'modest' design for Linda's gown with a lot of lace, bead ornamentation, and the sheer bodice.

Contrasting it with a more modern style and design for the bridesmaids themselves ^_^

That's all for now. Thanks for reading and continuing to support me both in my writing and in the other stuff going on in my life :-)

The bridesmaid dress

Linda's dress in ok maybe not quite so full in the skirt oterwise perfict. Now the bridesmaide dress the bow may be a gold or another contasting color & for Robin I'm not that fond of the V-neck now maybe if it was just a bit higher v-neck it would look better this is just my oppenion though hun. Your story do what you think would be best.

Bridesmaid dress

Just for giggles try this dress with a fuller skirt, with an asymetrical hemline running in the the opposite direction as the embellishment at the waist.

Thought about

I thought about something like that for the younger girls (Robin and friends), using the above for the Maid of Honor to kind of set her apart, the more I thought about it.

I also wish they had an option for the bodice above in a slightly less low-cut version. I love the style, but it swoops a little low for a 16-year-old of Robin's sensibilities ;-) (Well, she'll be 16 by the time of the wedding, anyway)

/random thoughts :-D

Wedding gown

Wow! I just love the wedding gown! Should I ever marry again and that is doubtful I want one like that one!

The bridesmaids gown looks good too but I am more of a long or three quarter length girl myself.

I love the bride’s gown too, and that sweetheart neckline just cries out for a pendent necklace to set it off. But I cannot think of the bridesmaids’ dress as a gown at all, much less as a wedding gown. The design is nice, I would call it “dressy-casual,” maybe even office-appropriate, but not even evening wear, and certainly not a bridesmaid’s gown. The contrast against the bride’s gown minds me of how far some brides are said to go to make sure their maids do not outshine them.
