Just got this off the News Wire:

Mexico City assembly legalizes same-sex marriage
Mexico City lawmakers on Monday made the city the first in Latin America to legalize same-sex marriage, a change that will give homosexual couples more rights, including allowing them to adopt children.

Mexico City for the past year has had severe travel warnings due to foreigners being kidnapped, mugged or killed. The mayor has had numerous attempts on his life. I think you are safer moving to Washington D.C.. This is not to say that all of Mexico is like this.

They are in a war against the drug lords in Mexico. It is not safe. Sadly the drug lords are taking their war across the border into the USA. Texas, Arazona, New Mexico are starting to have serious problems with kidnappings. We can hope they get this problem resolved. We can only hope but I doubt it will be resolved any time soon
