Sorry that I missed this, I was too busy pruning my (obviously white) rose bushes.
As a fellow expat, now living in Notts,it's best not to fly the white rose flag, but we did feast on Wensleydale and Rhubarb cheese , washed down with Yorkshire Tea,.....,... but then I woke up . It was all a dream, and when I remembered that Coles' is shut in Sheffield and Leeds is full of people with Geoffrey Boycotts accent I was so relieved I had escaped!
