But I think we all need something to smile about, so hoping nobody takes offence, may I present:

Pink-aholics anonymous!

Hi, my name is Dorothy, and I'm a pink-oholic.

anytime I see anything colored pink I want it. It doesn't matter if I would never use the thing, or if I have a perfectly good version at home, or any other reason why I shouldn't want it, I just want pink.

My obsession with pink started as a kid because my mom had pink sheets, pillowcases, and blankets, and sometimes when I was overwhelmed I would just crawl into her bed and just relax surrounded by pink.

So pink is the color of safety for me.

It's been one month since I bought anything pink, and I'm taking my addiction one day at a time . . .

Any other pink-oholics willing to step forward?

Dottie....

The northern hemisphere has more darkness (night) but it's lessening everyday. After the vernal equinox, we have more light and the southern hemisphere has less. ;-)

Then there are those of us

who find everything and anything in pink a huge turn off.
Back in regency times, pink was a male colour and somehow it got hijacked. Blue was a female colour and somehow it got hijacked.

Read That Initially...

...as "marketing druids". Between the reference to Regency times and Bronwen's stone circle story set in that period, it seemed like an intriguing story setup. (But not one that I could write.)
