but packed full of goodies!

Yes I know its late, I did warn you but it's worth the wait - really it is.

So to catch up, Thursday was cooler than the mad Wednesday temps we had here so I set off for a decent ride but soon realised that it was still quite warm and humid (apparently 89% according to the Met Office!) so I changed my plan a bit, lunch at Malmesbury, ice cream near Chippenham, catch my breath at Batheaston then tea and cake at Warmley station. Only just over 100km and under 700m of up but it was enough with the heat.

I had intended a run on Friday but again it was the heat that changed plans. No run, just a quick trip to the shop which left me time for some writing. And blow me, a forecast of plenty of wet postponed my Saturday ride so I knuckled down to complete the first bit of the new Gaby book, On The Edge - more of that in a mo.

Which brings us today, Sunday. The forecast was for morning showers so I didn't hurry my departure for the postponed bike ride, but even so got caught in a couple or three squalls! Between times it was quite pleasant as I took in Portishead and Clevedon on my way to lunch just north of Weston SM. Then it was back via the Mendip to round out 127km and 1060m, even if that was at a quite relaxed average pace.

Hopefully the weather will be more settled this coming week!

Next up, the new Gaby. I burnt the midnight oil on Saturday to get you the first part of On The Edge which is now available for Kindle across all market places - click on the cover to go direct to the page.

I will be cracking on with the writing this week, it seems at every turn there's something new for Gaby to get in a pickle with!

And so to the free stuff. No post on Friday so again its a double header with ch 9 of Book 2, Punishment and ch 30 of Book 21, Striped.

That seems to be everything, i'll try to post earlier next time!
