I noticed tonight that the last chapter of "Being Christina Chase" had been recently opened and for a brief moment in time, thought that KK had birthed another chapter.

I don't know if it just got to the place where he could not confront the decisions required to contintue or if his life has just gotten so busy that he could not devote the time. I just hope that he is not in some foreign land fighting the battles of the dark lord who occupies the white house.

I did just want to write a few lines of praise to Krunch saying what an engaging story this was, and how much it was enjoyed by me and many others. It is sad that it did not get finished but life goes on.

Nagging

It was reported that RL has gotten the better of him, which is totally understandable. But I wonder if all the nagging by some has hurt rather than helped.

Perhaps if everybody just gave him some time to sort things out, he'll get back to writing as and when he can.

If not, then as you say, life goes on.

Nagging

Well said Karen
I don't like hurting people's feelings, especially as it takes some courage to post a story even under a pen name, so if I think a story stinks and I can't say anything helpful I keep quiet. Luckily for me I like most of the stories posted here, and I think some of them are much better than a lot of commercially published mainstream fiction.
Writing is hard work, which is why I recently gave up working as a professional translator (not to mention bloody deadlines and no money). It's daft and selfish to complain when an amateur writer can't finish a project that might have been much harder than they expected, RL or writer's block get in the way of their work, or they just lose interest.
Having said that, I love KK's work and I hope to see more of it in future.

In a corner

As an amateur writer I can relate. I usually have a story thought out to the finish, but when one starts a story and hopes it will take care of its self, disaster can strike. The story can roll along for many chapters and then when it's time to end, the ending isn't there. Well actually there can be an ending but if the story is well written then the ending should be up to those standards set by the previous chapters. Sometimes it just takes time to sort out how you want to finish a task. Best wishes to the Admiral and hopefully we can all find out what happened to Christina, Arecee

As Admial Krunch's editor, I have kept in contact but not often

Before the first of the year, Krunch had some physical problems that made it difficult to write, but eventually we got a new chapter or two.
More recently there have been time constraints from working two jobs. He has firmly committed to me that he will get the final parts out, but it may be a few months yet.
