I am really bad at spelling and I am hoping that someone can help me with it. I posted the Titan Queen today. It will have a lot about the greek mythology and Gods and Goddesses. I was hoping someone here could help me with it

Sure

I would like proofreading for spelling errors

Perhaps editing for sentences that are worded badly or need some help with that.

And mistakes with the flow of the story or things that need further explanation or the order of events within the story or make no sense

Spelling ...

Any number of word processors will help a lot with spelling.

We still need to watch out for (homophones?), words that sound alike, but spelled differently (one, won (and a transposition: own)); for, four, fore), or words that are close in spelling, but completely different meanings: mediation and mediTation, and the 'big one': there (location), their (plural possessive), they're (they are). Also the anagram: marital (wedded) and martial (fighting).

Spell check will often suggest the wrong (not what you meant) word, and if you OK it ... oops.

I use LibreOffice Writer, a clone of (some version of) Microsoft Word; It's free from PortableApps.com. Install the PortableApps menu system first, then install new apps from the menu system. It's version 16.1 on the home page. Oh, and Writer and MS Word can read each other's documents, with hardly any 'damage' going back and forth.

I'll take a crack at chapter 1, and see if we can figure out a relatively painless way to get suggestions back to you.

I have some learning to do. I've made only a few blog posts, and some number of comments, maybe 2-3 messages, and have posted no stories on BCTS.

The better bet is

to install the whole suite LibreOffice it is free and offers an incredible choice of different versions of English libraries. UK-(or Queen's)English, Australian and American being only some of them for the spell check.

As for the rest,of course, yes the problems you mention are only the tip of the iceberg. The fact that American has mostly done away with irregular verbs has Europeans rather confused, as is clearly visible on the French NaNoWriMo discord chat every year, for example.

Is your verb irregular?

Try Miralax? Seriously, I had to look up what an irregular verb even is. I can see why we did away with them! Although, to my shame, I must admit to using a few of them. :-(

Please don't tell the PTBs

I hope someone can offer me some help for this tale

I am in the process of writing the second chapter. I am posting these to try to arouse interest in the tale. I hope that later I can post larger sections of the story with the help of a good proofreader. Some have responded to my request
