I have been thinking about my nightmares the other night, and I think I see the silver lining. See, unlike most of these instances, I was able to do something inside the dream.

I fought back.

Not physically, but I refused to accept the label he tried to put on me.

I refused to define myself as his property.

I said it loud in my mind - "I am not a toy. I am human being!"

I think that's a good thing.

Doesn't mean I am still not kinda shaky ...

And the light

at the end of the tunnel is not an oncoming train. Perhaps the dream is telling you something. I know you have been through a lot, and shared a lot of it with us. You
admitted to yourself in your dream "I am not a toy. I am a human being." You know who you are and what you to become (successfully, I hope and pray) - can you say aloud to yourself while you are awake,
"I am not a toy. I am a human being." Can you say it, and believe it?

"I am not a toy. I am a human being." What a wonderful thought, and it applies to all of us.

Huggles for sharing your life and hardships with us. And huggles to everyone else who shares all or part of their life as they try to become who they really are.
And all, please continue to share, and if someone doesn't like it, that is their problem, not yours.

Don't let someone else talk you out of your dreams. How can we have dreams come true, if we have no dreams?
