Had a conversation at work with Aurella, and I was grousing about my lack of progress lately with my transition, and she said. "Oh please. I've had SRS, and I can wear a skirt and pigtails and still get called 'Sir.' You met my mom, and just yesterday she referred to you as 'the woman who came over once'. You cant complain about your progress."

I was taken aback, and said, "But ... I wasnt trying to be feminine."

Later, I remembered conversations I have had with my friend Jaci, where I have said she acts like a girly girl, and she has said, "But I'm not trying to act like a girl at all!"

And I guess that's the point. When you have a female inside you, it will come out unless you work hard to hide it. And now, I feel safe enough to let my feminine side out, and people are seeing me as a woman. And boy, does that feel good ....

You could send me off for SRS right now and put me in a skirt and pigtails after I got out of the hospital, and nobody would "ma-am" me! = )
Perhaps the woman and the man in me cancel each other out, and everyone simply goes by my physical appearance.

DO OR DO NOT !

I get sick of hearing things like this. This girl boy thing is not just something you turn on for an evening and then come home and change the oil on your truck, ya know? If you're convincing as a girl to some people, chances are that you never really made it as a guy aye? So, you talk about transitioning all the time, so you need to make up your mind here. Do or do not!

the best progress

I ever made was when I was finally able to relax and just BE.

You don't have to try to be a girl. You are a girl, you just have a little plumbing problem.
