Got even worse news regarding Kylie

I got even worse news about Kylie tonight. Her best friend messaged me on Facebook, and told me that the local sheriff had come by. Apparently, Kylie had told the shelter where she was living that she was moving in with her friend, and the shelter was quite concerned about her mental state. And since her friend had not even heard from her much less have her show up, it seems clear to me that she had this well planned so no one could possibly stop her.

I wrote a poem in tribute to her:

"Dont give up" she said,

The last words from her lip

the last thing she had to do

before taking that final trip

But I'd rather she was here

I'd rather she was here

"I'm sorry" she had begged

"for what I'm about to do"

I realized too late

then I hoped it wasnt true

I'd rather she was here

I'd rather she was here

No one ever got me like she did

Who could ever take her place?

now my heart lays broken

and tears run down my face

I'd rather she was here

I'd rather she was here

Maybe she has at last found peace

maybe we'll meet again

but I cannot see such hope

no comfort in my pain

I'd rather she was here

I'd rather she was here.

Rest in Peace, Kylie Wheeler.

Now, I'm going to go cry for a while.

never knew her

Although I never knew her just the thought of a life so sadly lost like that rips at me inside..I have to admit to having those thoughts at one time in my life but now knowing what all I would have missed hurts me for those that couldnt take the pain of what we call life.. life is a series of choices for each & every one of us, every day we are on this earth we must make those choices...So when you have doubts, think about the pain you would inflict on those left behind, like that that we feel now ......we will get by but we get to grieve a little tooo.... May God bless & keep you Kylie we gonna miss you

I try to get to know people so that I have a means of contacting and getting ahold of someone in an emergency. Conversely, I can go to them myself and help them if needed (unofficially).

It bears repeating, I HATE losing authors. I do whatever it takes to keep them here and happy. :(

I try so hard...

I hope she didn't do it

It would make the whole thing even more tragic if we had to add her "Unbroken" name to the memorial box.

This is terrible :'(

I read a poem she wrote entitled "I Died Today"

I don't know what to say.

I was a sad, beautiful poem that means a lot more now.

Peace!

My heart hurts

When I hear of someone quitting life I wonder what could have been done to offer even the slightest hope. I have experienced suicidal ideations on more than one occasion. Those left behind are left in a quandary. Pain stays in memories and many people are hurt by the one single act of quitting life.
My prayer goes out to comfort those who knew Kylie and for them to remember the brightness she added to their lives.

Although I did not know her,
still I shed tears for one of our own who is lost.
There is a special connection here.
Don't anyone else give up, please!!!

How utterly sad...

...I hope and pray that the poem remains just that; a poem about something feared but not yet come to pass. Tearful prayers, dear one.
