Sorry for moaning like this, but just getting kind of fed up with it.

Long story short been off work ill since April, finally after an MRI scan in September, they found a contusion on my brain, and now nearly halfway through November, I am still waiting to find out what they plan to do next. Safe to say I am getting slightly frustrated and extremely bored. Wish they could just get their finger out, and get on with it.

Again sorry for moaning.

Hugs

who are "they"?

Sounds like the VA to me. Hell, it takes a month just to get an appointment to see the doctor that has to approve the MRI then another month to schedule it and then a month or two to read it, etc., etc., etc.

If it's not the VA then remember that YOU are paying THEM. In other words, they work for you. Speak up and ask. Know this, though; many times a contusion will gradually disappear on it's own. A contusion is just a bruise. I know, it's not JUST a bruise if it's on the brain but, actually, unless it's still growing or putting pressure on the brain, it'll be reabsorbed gradually and go away on it's own eventually. Definitely ask, though. Just because I was in rescue for thirty years does not make me a brain surgeon. Go to the experts and ask questions. If you're not satisfied with the answers, get a second opinion. Or a third. Even a fourth. Go until ALL your questions are answered to YOUR satisfaction.

Hope you get better soon.

Hugs,
