Last I saw
all the stories were on Sapphires :( I hope someone saves them, especially since I wrote one that wasn't quite good enough for the universe

"Professional Courtesy" by E.E.Nalley - a short story written back in 1989, years before the Care Givers Universe was fully developed.

Care Givers Universe
Yes. the last I saw Sapphire's Place had them all.
I also have each of the nine listed above but no others. All together they total close to 2 megs of memory space.
That means, if push came to shove that I have the ability to send my archive to the sites that are hosting those stories should that ever become necessary. I know that sometimes sites crash and not all of them have absolutely "everything" backed up. God, I don't even have all my stuff backed up and I've got two - one terrabyte drives available so I really should....
Maybe I'll go do that right now.

When I first read the title.
I mistook it for meaning sommething totally different. Thank God it's not what I thought it meant.
Good to hear you have a backup of it. I don't remember the Caregiver's story by Theide anywhere.
Is Caregivers officially EE Nalley's universe or what?
Care Givers Stories
I've looked in my archive and found that several of the stories, but not all of them, are also available at Stardust and in the Library section over at Crystal Hall (the Whateley Academy site). Theide's 'Southern Comfort', a series of 17 episodes, are available here at Top Shelf.
Those I have from Stardust are:-
Archimede's Loss.
Home is the Sailor, Home from the Sea.
Whereas everything else seems to be from Sapphire's Place. These are stories that I like to keep going back to when I don't feel like looking for something new. Perhaps E.E. 'Doc' Nalley and the other authors might gift us with further stories from this universe in the future.
