It just occurred to me that we have not seen anything since 2008, when Teddie posted her story Faith. I wondered if anyone knew if she was okay, quit writing, moved on, or ??????

Teddie S

I am not 100% certain, but I believe Teddie S was AKA the late T.D. Aldoenetti (I apologize for probably mispelling her name.)
I noticed on old stories some of the same ones were listed as authored by Teddie S while other sites had the same stories authored by Teddie Diane Siebert.
Some time back during a gap in posting the sorcerer story, I did a search for TD Aldoenetti to see if it might have been posted elsewhere. (Sometime authors post to their own sites before other's sites) I found a mention on Storysite for Teddy Diane Siebert Aldoenetti , so I suspect that they are different pen-names for the same person.

Not So Sure...

According to the "track" utility, Teddie (the screen name for the "Teddie S" byline) was here as recently as five days ago, reading an old chapter of Bike that had gotten a new comment that day. Though she wasn't here often -- just eight times in 2011, and that one time this year -- she wrote a comment (about Rev. Anam Chara's "Birthday Party" story) as recently as last May.

FWIW, the "Teddie S" stories, here and on Storysite, contain word errors, such as "use to" for "used to" and "your" in place of "you're", that I don't believe I ever saw in Aldoennetti stories. I have a vague memory of sending Teddie a list of such things back in 2006 -- our PM records here only go back to 2008, so I can't confirm it -- which she didn't appreciate.

I once

wrote her a note and we exchanged back and forth a couiple of times. I never actually commented on those, but I did ask her if she was elsewhere than the US. She asked why I thot that and I explained about I got the impression from the odd turn of phrase now and again. She took offense to that and never exchanged again.

I'm still here.

I'm still here. I'm not T.D. Aldoenetti or the other person mentioned here. I'm just me, good old plain Teddie S.

Stacy, I didn't take offense to you thinking that I wasn't in the U.S. Don't know where you got that idea.

Eric, I don't remember exactly what you said, or what I said. But, if it was constructive criticism I usually take it in the way it was meant. I know I have some problems with certain things when writing, but I'm not an English major. Are you sure it was me? ;-)

As far as writing is concerned, my muse has taken a long vacation. I do have a couple of ideas for new stories, and a rework on an old one. It's just kicking my muse in the butt to get her going again. ;-)

I'm here almost every day. Sometimes I don't sign in. I come to see what new stories are here, and try and read a number of them.

I'll try to be better. ;-)

Teddie

It's good to hear from you. Glad things are okay.

Teddie

The next thing is, obviously, are you working on anything new for us?

I've got some ideas. And,

I've got some ideas. And, actually one started. But, my muse can be very difficult. I also have an old story that I'm reworking a little that I may get out in the near future.

Glad you are still with us

It's wonderful to know you are still around and the possibility exists of more stories from you. I first read your stories several years ago on Crystal's site. I truly loved them especially Halle and Salt & Pepper. Thank you for giving me, and others, the pleasure of reading those beautiful stories.

Many hugs, Sarah Ann
