Not sure how everyone comes back home again from the military. I know there are many who can't cope. Many joined because they wanted an out from where they were in life and many were conscripted whether they wanted to join or not. Luckily I didn't come back home to riots and protests claiming I was a monster and baby killer even though those were the times I returned. Living at the edge of the earth has it's advantages. I love God, will protect those I love with my life, defend my nation to my last breath, and hope those governing our nation rot in Hell. In that order.
Understanding why our nation has gone down the path it has taken and agreeing are two different things. My race is almost run and hopefully I will be able to watch the outcome from the cheap seats.

I don't deserve the VA but I'm not so stupid I'm going to turn it down. Looking at all those choppers that came back, I knew many of those young men who flew out with them never returned alive. Those are the real heroes, the one's who went out knowing the odds and they went anyway. I pray God blessed them with peace in their soul for what they did.
