I'm a hazard

remember when I talked about managing to switch my blankets in my sleep?

Well I topped that last night.

I woke to find that I had not only kicked off both blankets, I had somehow kicked off the sheet I had been sleeping on.

I guess I'm kind of lucky I don't have a sleeping partner, I'm a serious hazard in bed.

I'm like that too

Especially when I'm having nightmares a lot. I don't know how Martin puts up with it. S/he's sweet and covers me back up so I won't get cold when I move around a lot even after repeated elbows to the face, being rolled onto, or half knocked out of bed.

Don't take me too seriously. I'm just kitten around. :3

Unease

Your sleep reflects your understandable response to trauma. I'd guess that while not this intense, there's always been some degree of unease in your sleep because you've never felt safe. That defense mechanism does not depart even after the trauma ceases. Love you!

It happens.

Sometimes I even manage to loose the mattress cover that's under the sheet too.

Tearing my bottom sheet.

Before Covid, I tore my fitted bottom sheet in half. I have no idea how it happened.

Another kind of hazard

I've been told that I give lectures in my sleep (in English at that, which isn't my "everyday" language).
Fortunately I'm not singing in my sleep. THAT would have been a problem.

When I can actually manage to sleep in a relaxed way I've done something similar. It doesn't happen often lately since I've had issues feeling really truly relaxed, but I've had entire intelligent conversations with Martin in my sleep and I don't remember having them the next morning. I didn't believe it until s/he recorded one. Problem with that could be that I also seem to be blatantly honest when I'm doing it, so if I actually wanted to hide something and s/he asked about it I'd be screwed.
