This is a story of the seventies. It involves sex, drugs and Rock 'n' Roll - a LOT of Rock 'n' Roll. There's a prison break out, a life on the run and a gradual realisation that life can indeed be good as well as bad. I think it's still one of the best stories I've ever read, TG or not. Read and enjoy.
This is the first piece of TG fiction I got deeply involved with. Rebecca Anderson said she was after an editor and I responded. Little did I realise how long this would take, but after a couple of years 'Wild Horses' was ready for publication. It appeared first at Sapphire's Place and I later posted it on FM, with Becky's permission, after she bowed out of the TG fiction scene and disappeared. It's such a great story I feel it deserves to be posted again so that new readers can enjoy the fruits of Becky's wonderful writing.

Wild Horses - a dark but worthy story
This story "Wild Horses" is a rather dark tale of power abuse by the auxiliaries to the judicial system. It is also about family, and how the lack of any significant family has strong and far reaching repercussions on the lifes of many people through the "judicial" system.
Even though, this story might not be recommended reading for people who suffered abuse (of power or otherwise), it is a very thought provoking story. I believe that it should be required reading for any and all people involved with the care of minors through the whole judicial system: social workers, court officials, judges, prosecuters, correctional employees, teachers, health care professionals, etc.
It does not hurt, that the technical quality of the text is of a very high standard.
With the above caveats, I can only recommend this story for further reading.
