Didn't think you'd "zag" away from the wedding, at least for now you have. I assume you might "zig" back, but the reason seemed very reasonable. I really liked the exploration of James' feelings. I especially liked that they didn't get all wrapped up in a neat package, but are still a little messy and undefined. Seems more realistic.
