I can understand
- a little, the thrill of this semi-forbidden process. I do cringe a bit at the amount of scar tissue collecting in those ears though. It's a whole other thrill wondering who will notice the new ear attachments, and letting them heal to genuine holes whereupon one can swap them to any fancy or everyday adornment at a whim - or leave them out until later. Guess which I did? And yes, the ones in my avatar are typical daily wear.

I've finally found someone I can relate with! Yes, I've been reading all of EmmaP's stories and I've loved every single one of them. My ears are fine though, at least for now, thanks for the kind words. Those earrings look beautiful, unfortunately I can't keep them in, I would love to wear some gold hoops and some small diamonds on the side. How was your adventure in ear piercing?
