Spin Cycle: Random Glances
The Spin Cycle Logo

by Liobhan

Use what language you will, you can never say anything but what you are.
  ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

The Spin Cycle logo is an image of the full moon seen from high Earth orbit. The moon is at the top of the picture, silhouetted against the blackness of space, but the blue haze of Earth’s atmosphere fills the lower two thirds of the picture, shading imperceptibly from the deepest of deep purple blues to the azure blue we think of as the sky.

Unseen, the Earth itself spins on below.

In our larger context, we too are spinning, around the Earth/Moon system, around the Sun, around our Galaxy, and through our vast Universe, wheels within wheels, each of us intimately — however imperceptibly — connected to everything there is.
