Renting a room to a TG

As many may know, I have a house. In this house there are two bedrooms. I don't even enter one of them and keep the door closed. With the recent bank fiasco going on, I was thinking wouldn't it be nice to rent the room and have someone I could associate with and maybe have some level of social life. I was thinking I may want to rent to another transsexual, perhaps one who could help me on the journey that I am embarking on. Does anyone know where I could look or post an ad so I can find a tennent. I am probably going to charge 500-600 dollars for a room with a shared bathroom to include all utilities and use of the fenced in yard and hottub. I might allow a small dog if it doesn't shit in the house (the last peoples dog loved shitting on the carpet and I hate small dogs like that.) Maybe someone on here is looking to move to the Tampa area. Let me know.

TG

Just remember, TG are both good and bad. We are people, just like everyone else.

Once bitten twice shy. That being said perhaps you should check out the local LGBT offices. They should know of a respectable type of person

P.S. Very happy that you are handling this a little better. Post your blog often and let this community help where it can

Does your local TG support

Does your local TG support group have a web site, chat room, or group (Yahoo, Google, etc.)? One of the groups in Phoenix has a Yahoo group that posts rooms for let, etc. on a regular basis.

It's worth looking in to.

To be or not to be... ask Schrodinger's cat.

Better off getting a GOOD person

Maybe someone with references would be a good idea. Someone who isn't going to disappear on you. Also you'll need some kind of lease agreement that protects you (and them) in the event of problems...

Good Luck

Oh, and cats are better...just saying ;)

Hmm...

I'd be interested in moving, as I hate where I live... But I'm not transsexual, closer to bigender really, and I have a cat.

On the plus side: I can cook, I can manage most small home repairs, and I don't do drugs. The cat's neutered, well mannered, litter trained, and has his shots all in order.
