I have been thinking about cleaning up some of my unfinished stories. After Ch 4 of Lt Katia, I was going to write the final chapter of MS Frankenstein but when I looked at the comments and reads, discovered that it just did not sell that well. I had thought it was a very good story but perhaps not. So, I guess I will ask for input from the readers.

Is this story worth finishing? If I get a few comments saying that it is, perhaps I'll do the final chapter. If not, I will just let it die a natural death.

Much peace

Okay, I haven't been here all that long

So I had to go through the archives to find the original story. I like it! The mystery is interesting-I want to know what's going on, so, please! Finish the story! I assume Credence and Fred end up together, I hope! More, please!

If you thought the story idea had merits enough to write in the first place continue with it. Let the readers decide if you have hit or missed the mark. If all you want is reads the you should write XXX rated slurp stories. If you want to write a tale of interest then you will find a select audience depending on many factors. Please give your reader a break, if they have taken their time to read your tale then please be considerate and complete it for them. It is one thing to find an incomplete story and the author is no longer around, this is sad for the loss of their story writing ability. Sadder still are stories the author has given up on and left the readers hanging vainly awaiting the remote possibility of it being completed.

My writing is never about the votes.

I was mainly looking at the read counts and comments, and must have been looking at the wrong thing. Looking directly at the stories, I find that I have three fans who want me to finish it, so I will. This was written during the time that the realisation of GID issues in myself was really, really terrorising me. So, one of the commentors was correctin saying that there was much terror in the story. It was also the first story that I had published on line, 2001, and Crystal at Storysite did a lot to clean it up.

I will hopefully keep with my original plan and write the conclusion. I hope that my three readers enjoy it.

Much peace

I'm currently posting a four-part story written a while back that's not going over very well, so I can understand your reservations about posting your MS FRANKENSTIEN story. But I'd say go ahead and publish it here, for the sake of the few who will enjoy it. Except for a few authors who seem to have a genius for finding BCTS's demographic heart, not everything one of us posts is going to be received equally well. In posting JENNY LEE & THE STRANGER I'm hoping it won't sour people from even clicking on any story with my name attached to it; and that my half-finished sequel to VERONICA ON THE CROSS will generate BUNCHES of comments (and maybe even those comments on comments that show people are seriously engaged in the meaning & implications of the story...) compared to this current one of mine; which on reflection is a not very emotionally engaging string of weird jokes---Mel Brooks on an off day---but good enough to post as a historical oddity, from the earliest days of my scribbling TG fiction...

I had long hoped MS Frankenstein might get finished

The intial premise was interesting and left open a lot of possibilties.

The biggest was WHY? Why was this done to him, now her? What was the motivation? Revenge? Testing a weapon? What what what?

And would she ever free her self of the debilitating fears and other things they did to her and if I recall were still doing to her via some chip in her head. Can/will she evre get control over her life? Can she get justice?

Have fun.

I say compete it and if need be, make changes in story.
