Bob Elliot, father of Chris -- Get a a Life, writer for Letterman and others -- and grandfather of Amy(?) or whatever her name is -- shes's on Saturday Night Live -- turned 88 today.

One of the masters of quiet comedy, comedy of the absurd. He and Ray have terrific caemo roles in the Norman Lear film Cold Turkey.

And my dad turns 84, Gets his OTHER knee replaced April 14th.

John in Wauwatosa would would not be here without him. So dad is to blame.

Spielberg and Stalin are the most prominent on mine. That and one of the key people behind AM and FM radio, Edwin H Armstrong. No wonder I like the sound of my own voice so much.

My sister, The Evil BlondeTM is exactly as old as Miley Cyrus's dad, Billy Ray. Scary!

I suppose it is the time of year when greats celebrate their birthday I did mine two days ago (LOL.) As for your dad being responsible for creating you I think he did a pretty good job. I take you meant Amy Polar on SNL and Chris Elliot of Cabin Boy got to love comedians.
