Up is easy, up is the opposite of down.
That can be a problem for aircraft in the fog or clouds, I understand, but this guy's on the ground. Maybe he's one of those cretins -- sorry to bad mouth cretins by this analogy -- who get on the Tonight Show 'Jay Walking' segments. The kind of people who have a hard time putting their shoes and socks on in the right order.
