Okay, it's been too long.

I know.

I'm about two thirds through the latest and perhaps last chapter of Witch's Tarot, which I hope to have finished fairly soon, but I am at one of those points that needs to be right or the whole thing will fall apart. So it's a case of taking it step by step to ensure all the 'i's' are dotted and the 't's' are crossed.

My intention is to provide a feature-length bumper episode here that will possibly round everything off, so those interested, please be patient, I'll get there.

Having said that, I am also about two thirds of the way through my latest story for the Gift Challenge.

This has turned out to be a challenge in more ways than one as Withheld issued something of a challenge that I just couldn't pass up. There it was right in front of me and my head just went flat out for about four thousand words, taking the idea given and fleshing it out. Now I'm on to the sandpaper stage, which means it's not far short of finished.

Phew.

What with that, The Witch's Tarot, Cliffside and Second Sight, I don't suppose I'm going to get a free moment for the next month or so. Please let me out every now and again so that I don't get cabin fever, but also remember, I'm going as fast as I can.

My thanks for your continued patience.

Wow! Thanks for the honor!

I didn't really think my ideas worth developing, however I'm glad you found something you liked. I'm often told I'm a PITA because I take things in direction not intended by the other person, I think the most used phrase around me is "That's NOT what I meant and you know it!" Good luck with the sandpapering. :-) What's the saying, "Force to fit, file to hide, paint to cover." ;-)

Damaged people are dangerous
They know they can survive

As one of my bosses said

I wasn't in the Navy (no surprises why not) but I remember; "If it moves and shouts, salute it; if it won't move, paint it; if you can't paint it, kick it overboard."

Me, I'm waiting patiently for Second Sight. Says she, who's had a few stories on the go for a couple of years. I won't publish a word until the whole story is written - but I keep painting myself into corners.

We are verrry patient .... Is it done yet?????

Best of luck, Nick.

You are among my must read writers here so I will wait. Take your time.
