There will be at least one openly trans official at the Tokyo games, a trans woman named Kimberly Daniels will be one of the judges of canoe slalom, while her daughter will be one of the first women competing in the sport.
What's really cool to me at least is that both are Canadians.

there is a video judge reviewing her judgements to make sure she's being fair, and she's been a judge at the Olympics before while still in male mode
Canoe Slalom
is judged (AFAIK) on wether or not you went through a gate or not and did you go through it in the right direction. That's pretty easy to say yes or no and would be obvious given the sheer number of TV cameras covering the course if you showed bias towards one competitor. If anything, she could well be harsher on her daughter than other slalomists just to ensure no claims of bias.
