My last Hurrah

As the title suggests I will be talking about something that I never wanted to post but I honestly need to now. I’m currently working on a story that will be my last hurrah most likely. You see, I have 3 little girls to take care of now and I will be going back to work in a few weeks. I have much more important things to be doing nowadays than writing. My kids do sports and they are very active in church groups and love to be outside. Life has been hard for me since moving up to where I am now, I’ve been battling with personal demons for years and I almost lost my battle a few months ago. This story im working on has been a big project of mine for awhile and I’m about 180k words into it and it’s not even half done yet. I could post this in parts but it would lose its charm if I did that. I don’t know how many words this will end up being but, it’s coming along very nicely. I’ll still be around after I post this story, I’ll just be a reader and not posting anything after this. I’m not expecting to be done with this story until after the new year at earliest with me doing about 2k words a day on this story.

self care

as busy as you are, please make sure you take the time to look after yourself, especially if the demon-struggling is still ongoing. That doesnt necessarily mean write, but it might include writing if that helps you. please reach out if you start feeling overwhelmed. hugs!

Family comes first, but, you

Family comes first, but, you are family too. If writing helps keep the daemons away, try short 2000 word stories every now and then.
